11 Jun 2009. IPC HighRise wins the Innovation Award 2009
IPC Eagle’s window cleaning robot wins the Pulire 2009 Innovation Award. Advanced technology, ecology and safety have combined to ensure the success of IPC Eagle’s exclusive robot, designed to clean windows on high rise buildings of any height.
A total of three juries recognised the excellence of HighRise, the window cleaning robot from IPC Eagle (Integrated Professional Cleaning’s American subsidiary) that won the Innovation Award at this year’s Pulire exhibition.
The first jury, made up of experts from the cleaning sector, voted IPC HighRise into the three finalists in the equipment class for the prestigious award assigned during the Pulire exhibition, the most important international exhibition of environmental hygiene products and technologies, held every two years in Verona.
The second jury, comprising journalists from top cleaning sector magazines in Italy and elsewhere, diclared IPC HighRise joint winner of the equipment class, together with Ghibli.
But undoubtedly the most important award that the IPC HighRise received came from the final and sovereign judgement of the exhibition’s professional public. The cleaning sector public voted IPC’s window cleaning robot winner of the Innovation Award, which was handed over to Walter Tomasi, the IPC Group’s Marketing Manager, and John Siebenaler from the U.S. subsidiary, by Michele Redi, president of AfidampFAB, the Italian association of cleaning equipment manufacturers who promote both the exhibition and the award.
The IPC Group’s advanced technology has therefore been officially recognised and rewarded by operatives at all levels of competence and expertise, with special appreciation going to HighRise, the innovative and extremely ecological system for cleaning windows on the world’s highest sky scrapers, safely, quickly, and effectively.
The IPC Group presented its latest products and international patents at the Pulire exhibition, including IPC Gansow’s CT40 ECS scrubber drier, IPC Euromop’s HDS trolley, IPC Soteco’s vacuum floor polisher, and IPC Portotecnica’s Benz HS 4040 pressure washer.
